From the York Visitor Centre it is easy! You are already in the right street! Just head north along Avon Terrace until you see No. 198.
From Perth it will take you about 80 minutes to reach York. Take Great Eastern Highway through Mundaring and Sawyers Valley to The Lakes (50 km from Perth) and turn right onto Great Southern Highway. From here it is another 46 kilometers, almost due east, to York. On arrival in York, cross the railway line and turn left into Avon Terrace, the main street. Travel through the town centre down Avon Terrace until you reach No.198.
From south of York, take the Great Southern Highway through Beverley to York. When you arrive in York you will be in Avon Terrace. Drive through the town centre and keep going down Avon Terrace. You will find Riverside Cottage, on the right, at No. 198.
From east of York Take Quairading Road west until you reach a T junction near York. Turn right into York Road then travel about 2 kilometers and turn left into Balladong Road. This short road will take you over the Avon River. Just past the bridge turn right into Avon Terrace. From north of York Approach York along the Northam York Road. This becomes Panmure Road when you reach York. A short distance along Panmure Road, turn right into Pool Street, left in Suburban Road and right into Glebe Street. Take Glebe Street across the Avon River and go until you reach a stop sign.
